Increasing the capacity for abstracting non-saline raw water from 210,000 m³/day to 420,000 m³/day.
Main components:
+ Installation of new pumps.
+ Construction of a raw water pipeline with a diameter of 1,200 mm connecting the An Trach pumping station to the Cau Do Water Treatment Plant, with a total length of approximately 7.4 km.
+ Auxiliary works: raw water intake structure, pumping suction system, pipeline system, and connection to the existing network.
Objectives: Enhancing the water pumping station’s treatment capacity to meet the increasing demand, particularly during the dry season or periods of saltwater intrusion.
Significance: Ensuring a safe and sufficient supply of clean water for the city during the summer, especially in the dry months.
